kade ("we") provides bookkeeping software for independent beauty professionals. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.
Your email and password (stored hashed, never in plain text), the business details you enter, and the bank or card statements you choose to upload along with the transactions in them.
Only to provide the service: categorizing your transactions, generating your reports, and keeping you signed in. We do not sell your data. We do not share it except with the infrastructure providers needed to run kade (for example, our hosting provider).
If you turn on the optional AI categorization feature, the description and amount of flagged transactions may be sent to our AI provider solely to suggest a category. This is off unless you enable it.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). You control what you upload and can export or delete your information at any time by contacting us.
